The hot and rainy summer of subtropical Hong Kong is not favorable to the production of high value and quality crops. Studies are being carried out by the AFCD to produce high quality and safe greenhouse vegetables by making use of different types of controlled-environment greenhouse with the support of intensive farming technology.
